Lighting the Way for Haiti

Support the addition of a secondary school at The Joseph School.

Building the next chapter.

The 2021 school year saw the first calss of 7th grade students at The Joseph School. As our students continue to grow and learn, the need for a secondary school begins to be greater and greater.

Community Impact

The families of The Joseph School came together in May 2021, to support the completion of our secondary classroom building. Together, they supplied 80% of the cinder blocks needed for building.

Lighting The Way

Join The Joseph School family in building a different space — a fanal.  The Creole word “fanal” meaning ‘beacon’ or ‘lantern’ has been applied to the cardboard and colored tissue paper luminaries made by families at Christmas. Bring some Haitian traditions to your home this year by creating your own paper fanal.

Your Impact

To ensure our mission can continue for years to come, we must expand our educational spaces to fully accommodate our current and future students. When you give to our Cinderblock Campaign, you’re supporting the construction of the second phase of our campus along with all that accompanies our secondary school: school supplies, science equipment, technology and much more.
